Kovalam Beach
Kovalam village is small village situated on the Malabar Coast along the Kerala shoreline. The most popular among the three beaches is the southern most known as the Lighthouse Beach. Middle one is called Hawah, which acts as a base for the local fisherman every morning. Marari originates from " Mararikulam ", one of the local fishing villages, where life still goes on much as it did a hundred years ago, with the men going out to sea each day to earn a living bringing in the daily catch. The Resort
In a superb location set in 25 acres of Coconut Palm groves leading down to the vast expanse of beach. The Marari Beach is a Brand New Hotel built in the style of a traditional fishing village with thatched villas that have been designed to be in keeping with the local village style. The 400 sq.ft spacious villas are all air-conditioned with twin or double beds, mini bar, coffee making facilities and delightfully furnished veranda with ceiling fan. The bathrooms are spacious and modern, built in traditional Kerala style with an open-air courtyard, complete with a banana or Pappaya tree.
